Basic Info BioHey, out there! So you've stumbled upon my LJ profile. I'd bet it was an accident, but just in case, I'll tell you something about me.
Well, I'm a twenty year old student of Mechanical Engineering, after a year of Japanese studies.

Really, it's not even as bad as it sounds. I'm actually fairly harmless. You see, even more interested than in machines - and in Japan, its language and culture, both historical and popular - I am in literature. Writing, that is. And, since we're just delving into the matter: Yes, I'm talking about Fantasy.

So, now I'm already coming to an end, as I would not want to bother you with every little detail of my dreams of one day becoming a published author.
Aside from original fiction, I am writing fanfiction - (Really, you ARE brave. And by now you should have come to know my sense of humour, too.) - mostly for "Fruits Basket", a pretty popular manga series, and a bit of "Harry Potter".
I like to listen to a strange mix of music, usally produced by setting Windows Media Player on random, to choose from various J-Pop artists, Tori Amos, Meat Loaf, Flogging Molly and just about everything my father gives to me, from Pink Floyd to Austrian "folk".
Also, in my free time - which I'm not supposed to have, considering my course of study, I like to watch movies. Every kind of movies. Examples would be: Johnny Depp movies (yes, they DO form an own catagory, at least here), humourous movies, sad love stories. Happy, humourous love stories, which I probably watch way too often...
I do not like being in a crowd, although I believe that my tolerance for other people is increasing since I've started univesity.
So, you did stick around until the end? I've said it several times, by now, but I'll repeat it, anyway: You are very brave indeed. Alright then. Since you've survived this far, why not visit the actual journal for more of this?
Come over, I don't bite. At least I don't think I do, but you may not want to try my resolve.
